Palau Pledge wins Grand Prix at Cannes

Host/Havas has secured Australia’s first grand prix award at Cannes overnight, taking out the top award for the direct lions with its work on Palau Pledge.

ROYGBIV directed a film that features a group of children who encounter a strange "tourist" on the island of Palau.  After getting caught disrupting their lands, they show him how to respect their fragile ecosystems, and and provide tips on how to help keep Palau beautiful for generations to come.

The work, which sees all visitors to the tiny island nation have their passport stamped with a pledge to be a good environmental citizen, which they must sign before entering the country.
